Enersea presents at IQPC Offshore Foundations & Substations in Bremen

Stefan Erents, Senior Project Manager at Enersea, will delve into all aspects of secondary steel design for offshore wind structures during this offshore wind conference in Bremen from 26-28 August. His presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the intricacies and unique challenges faced in the design and implementation of secondary steel, ensuring attendees gain a thorough understanding of its vital role in offshore wind projects.

Stefan will also share his expert opinion during a discussion panel about the pros and cons of slip joint connections. Sander Suur, Design Manager Offshore Wind at Van Oord, will be Stefan’s discussion partner on the topic.

The conference will also feature an engaging workshop on Floating Wind chaired by colleague Dirk Pulles, Sr. Offshore Wind Energy Consultant. This workshop will address the latest technologies and approaches for floating wind farms, focusing on synergies, distinct supply chains and current challenges for both floating wind turbines and substations.

Edwin van Drunen, Managing Director of sister company H2SEA, he will give a presentation during the conference session on Offshore Wind to H2 focusing on technical challenges and opportunities in Offshore Hydrogen Production. Furthermore he will share his expert insights during a panel concerning Decentralized vs Centralised Hydrogen Production.
