Enersea designs efficient cable installation systems, primarily for offshore vessels on cable-laying missions. For cable manufacturing factories, Enersea also designs separate cable carousels and related equipment
Our scope includes concept and detailed design, along with fabrication, mobilisation, and on-site support, ensuring seamless execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Enersea has developed DNV-approved carousels for unrestricted weather conditions, as well as seismic-resistant cable carousels, prioritising safety and reliability in all environments.
Upon customer specification, Enersea designs heave-compensated gangway systems, utilising either hydraulic or electric technology. These systems serve as efficient walk-to-work solutions, allowing service engineers and cargo to safely transfer from vessels to offshore wind turbines or other marine assets.
To enhance the efficient installation of offshore wind turbine foundations, Enersea has developed tools such as an External Jacket Lift Tool and Flange Alignment Tool, which has been successfully deployed at multiple offshore wind farms.
Mission equipment on a vessel may be either permanent or temporary structures. In both scenarios, Enersea takes responsibility for integrating this equipment with the vessel or jack-up platform. The synergy between the vessel/platform and equipment is crucial for optimising workability and mitigating offshore execution risks.
All offshore installation activities require transit from the harbor to the offshore location. Whether on a vessel or a floating platform, this voyage requires a thorough understanding of load dynamics and movement, which must be managed through effective sea fastening. Enersea provides support with bespoke or reusable design solutions tailored to each project’s needs.
